  • Base your diet more on fruits and vegetables than the proper meal. Fruits and vegetables contain roughage, fiber and a lot of water content that makes you feel full without creating any further need of eating wheat or other such meal.
  • Never skip your breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Hence consume it nicely. If you miss out on it now, you’ll end up eating more lately. Also, avoid dinner altogether. A famous quote says ‘eat your breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.’ Follow this quote and you’ll see the effects yourself.
  • Work more and sleep less. Sleeping more and more definitely adds to your weight. Keep yourself busy and try to sleep only upto what is required. Sleeping would only make you lazy and add on more weight to your body.
  • Try to cut down on sodium. Sodium, i.e., salt keeps hold of water from your body making you look fat than you actually are. Sodium leads to water retention which is not at all good for your body.
  • AVOID sweets, sugar and junk food. These are the main carriers of calories that go straightway to your stomach, leading to bulging belly.
  • Eating snacks while watching movie could not be a very good idea. AVOID this completely. Instead take fruits.
  • Walk! This is just a one work mantra for you. If the distance to your college or office is not much, walk instead of driving. This would not only help you reduce weight but will also help the environment. Go ahead in saving yourself as well as your environment.
  • Exercise everyday. Daily workouts are really mandatory if you are trying to lose weight. Merely dieting won’t help you at all. Exercise is important for burning calories.
  • Last, but not the least, wake up early in the morning and feel the fresh air. Make yourself happy and try doing the little household tasks in the morning. Singing while doing so would be very relaxing.
